Birthday Party: Third Post

10 Things about me and the book-blogging world!

  1. I sign up by e-mail to all blogs, authors and publishers I enjoy.
  2. I open my e-mails every day, and read/comment/share at the ones that I like.
  3. Even though I have facebook/twitter/pinterest/tumblr/g+ what I really read every day are the e-mails. The rest, I only read the days that I have extra time. Mostly I visit the social media on my phone, but e-mails I open daily on my computer, even when I'm at work.
  4. I enjoy blog hopping and I enter lots of giveaways around the net.
  5. Because I enjoy blog hopping, I usually join one, once a month.
  6. I love commenting on reviews that I enjoy, or at posts that I find cute or funny.
  7. I love meeting new people, and I'm always amazed how humble most authors are.
  8. I'm an Amazon one-click button addicted!
  9. I always have buy more books that I can possibly read in my lifetime. A girl can dream!
  10. I know I'm weird and like to do what most people don't. Sign up for newsletter and commenting on blogs. :)

  1. I get and open blogger emails, I have some favorited in my browser to remind me to visit them. What I like most are reviews from bloggers I feel have tastes like mine. I usually stop visiting if they give every book a 4 or 5 because I then stop trusting them. No one picks a super winner every single time they pick up a book. I also like finding out about new to me authors/series. Giveaways are a plus too.

  11. I just read :) I subscribe to a lot of blogs. I love the book reviews and giveaways. I spend way too much time reading book blogs but it's just as addicting as reading. Thanks for the fun post!

  12. My introduction to the book-blogging world was through giveaways. I love to enter giveaways and I was excited so find that so many bloggers offered a chance to win gift cards or free books. Then I started realizing that the blogs are a lot of fun to read on their own, even without the giveaways. I don't have many favorite book blogs yet, though, because I'm fairly new to the book blog community. I like to read blogs in a feed reader and my favorite way to follow is in Twitter.
