The Walk-In (Borrowed Billionaire, #1)The Walk-In by Mimi Strong

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I really liked it. 4 stars! erotica

Bad Girl Comments & Graphics

~Magickal Graphics~

This is a series of 5 short-stories. Somehow, I got book number 4 as a freebie. I read it, I really liked and in the same day bought the other 4 and read the entire series.

Summary

Lexie works with her best-friend Suzanne as a personal organizer for the rich. She is hired for a job at a billionaire's house by a bit weird lady.
On her first day at work she came straight from a bad night and she was really horny.
The billionaire, seems like a really horny guy and they start a game of cat and mouse.
They finally meet and have one quick together, but Lexie is told he is in sort of a probation for three months.

Impressions

Lexie is a great character. She is funny, she is crazy, she is horny and she is a bit wild. Her journey through the life of the rich is really fun to read.

The authors ideas for the cat-and-mouse game were hilarious.

This is not the normal billionaire-meets-work-girl type of book.

Review: Cait and the Devil

Cait and the DevilCait and the Devil by Annabel Joseph

My rating: 3 of 5 stars

3.5 stars. I liked it. historical, BDSM

Magickal Graphics

Summary

Cait grew up in the middle of the forest being raised by her nurse. When her nurse died, she leaves her forest for the first time and go to the king castle to ask for help. There she finds out a horrible truth. Because of it, she is sent away to be married to a man known as "the devil".
Duncan had a horrible first marriage in which he lost his wife in childbirth screaming to the world that he was THE DEVIL. Duncan always knew he was a bit wicked, because the things that used aroused him, were not considered normal by most. When the king decides he must married again, he is totally against it, but follow his rule.

He is very atracted to his new wife, but is very afraid of intimacy because he knows he is a "freak". They entered a marriage of discovery and love without even knowing.

As in all good books, there is always a peril close and in a bad choice of Duncan, something horrible happens.

Through rejection, fear and necessity Duncan and Cait have a journey for hapiness.

Impressions and opinion

Since I've read Annabel Joseph before, I was a bit surprised and a little confused through out this book. It didn't look like her books at all, but I recognize an author trying to venture through new lands. She was a successful! Still, it left me with a feeling of " I wanted more".
I'm not certain if this feeling was because I've read her books before, so when I read non-con, domestic discipline.... I wanted more!
I guess I've became jaded with my books, but if I'm reading non-con, I want to read the description of the horrible acts. I want to feel the characters pain, hatred and angst. This did not happen here.
I guess that's why I didn't give it a full 4 stars. Maybe if it were from another author I would have, maybe I let my past experience with this author create expectations that were not fulfilled.

I enjoy the read. I will always keep reading Annabel. I will even read another historical of hers, but next time, I'm going to be prepared.

I recommend this book for anyone that likes spice romance and want the feeling of a somewhat light BDSM relationship.

Review: His Need, Her Desire

His Need, Her Desire
His Need, Her Desire by Malia Mallory

My rating: 3 of 5 stars

3 stars. I like it. BDSM

cover: I loved the cover, it really drew me to the book!

characters: Heroine, she was ready to try new things, but at the same time to jump into a situation that she seems to know something, she should have questioned it more.
Hero: He seemed to be an experienced Dom, so he should have explained the steps better and set rules.

plot: It's cliché, but it's good. I like the overall idea. I just wished, since this was not a non-con book, the author had made the Dom explain to the sub rules, boundaries, they should have negotiated the scenes. Who get collared without even knowing it?

heat: In a scale of 1 to 5, I would say a 3. Good scenes, nothing that made me break out a sweat.

Opinion: As I have stated, I didn't rate it higher because after reading so many BDSM books, I expect the basic rules of explanations, safewords, all the SANE, SAFE, CONSENSUAL.
I have no problems with non-con, but this book wasn't a non-con.

I will read the next and I'm curious to know how the sub will grow into her role.

Review: Outlaw Scot and the Stolen Bride: A Highlander Romance Short Story

Outlaw Scot and the Stolen Bride: A Highlander Romance Short Story
Outlaw Scot and the Stolen Bride: A Highlander Romance Short Story by Marilyn Stonecross

My rating: 1 of 5 stars

1.5 star. I didn't like it. But I did try until the end, maybe hoping for it to get better. So, it was not a total loss, since I was able to finish. That's why the extra half star.

cover - It was an ok cover, it made me give the book a chance.

characters - I didn't like any of the main characters. Maybe the secondaries, the hero's brothers, may have a more interesting story.

Plot - I couldn't really get past the writing. I know they were suppose to be highlander, but I've read many highlander books and none of them "spoke" as those highlanders in this book. The writing was not good in my opinion.

heat - I didn't feel the heat at all. The hero was a jerk and their first time was horrible IMO.

Opinion - I won't try this series again, I'm not going to say the author, because I haven't really read about her. Maybe this was her first book, lots of things may change.

Review: Help Wanted

Help Wanted
Help Wanted by Meg Silver

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

4 stars. EROTICA (not romance, plain erotica)

This is an introduction to a series. What a great introduction! I've been hooked!

Summary

Amanda is running away from humiliation. She has been left for another woman two weeks before her wedding. Tired of being the proper everything, she wants to be daring and make new discoveries.
She finds out about a job at a luxury sex club and dare to give it a try.

Impressions and opinion

In this book the author introduces the place, the main character and some other characters. Even though it's all about sex, plain erotica really, I can see a good plot being created by the author.
I'm really curious to know where the author plans to take the readers.
I will definitely join this journey!

Review: Trouble with Harry

Trouble with Harry
Trouble with Harry by Myla Jackson

My rating: 2 of 5 stars

2.5 stars It was an ok book. Erotica, PNR

Cover: I like the cover. Not only the man with no face, but also the rock on the left that has everything to do with the book. I like the color of the heading.

Characters: I like Harry, the main male character. He was a good hero.
I like Mitch the secondary, male character.
I dislike the heroine. Eddie was a 30 year virgin, full of confidence problems because of family history that suddenly tries to became a vixen. I didn't buy it. She really irritated me, most of the time.
There is also a third male character, that it promise good things for a future book.

Plot: It's an ok plot. The woman works in a museum and brings out a bottle and a rock from the past. Sort of like a "genie in a bottle", but her genie is talk, dark, handsome and naked! lol

Heat: it has lots of good scenes, but the girls first time was really a turn-off IMO.

End: There is no end. Really, it's stops in the middle of a scene. So you need to buy the next book, to know what's going to happen.

Opinion: Some funny moments with a good idea of a plot. Really the heroine and the end dropped my overall rating from "I like" to "It's ok".

I got it as a freebie and even though I was left hanging, I'm not certain I will buy the next book.

Review: Dirty

Dirty
Dirty by Megan Hart

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

4.5 Stars. erotica, emotional, drama

description
This book is about a journey of self-discovery. More really, of learning how to like yourself.

Elle hates herself and she is in a self-destructive journey. She meets Dan and he wants more from her than she has to give.
Dan, seems to know what she needs and helps her out of the shadows.

Impressions, Opinion
Megan Hart is the queen of emotion! Really, she plays with the readers feelings like a true master and she makes us feel, wanting or not.

Once again, she brings a painful reality to light and talks about the "untouchable".

This book is hot, with amazing characters and we can see the light at the end of the tunnel.
The author does not turn bad into good, only plays with sometimes bad and sometimes good. Like in real life, like all of us.

I would recommend this book for those that enjoy drama, romance and lots of steam.

Review: Broken

Broken
Broken by Megan Hart

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

It's a 5 stars! I really loved it in a weird way. erotica, emotional
description

It's been a while I've read this book, but it seems like yesterday, because I remember everything.
It was like riding a roller coaster, really full of ups and downs and several loops in the way.
description

Sadie was in such a bad place and her only good moments was through Joe's not-so-good-moments.
What does it say about Sadie's life?

Joe was lost, until he met Sadie. But Sadie could not be found, which only increased Joe's spiral life.

Adam was a great secondary character, I felt for him also. It was never his fault.

Really, Broken is real life wake-up call. How many of us, aren't there in a bad place, or lost because of circumstances.
It could happen to any of us, being broken!

I guess I have to mentioned this is an erotica book, full of sex scenes. I just didn't comment before, because here it's sort of irrelevant. Even though the characters express themselves through sex, it's not why or how they are broken.

I would recommend this book to anyone that like erotica, with a big dose of reality and HEA.

Review: The Tycoon's Revenge

The Tycoon's Revenge
The Tycoon's Revenge by Melody Anne

My rating: 2 of 5 stars

2 stars. It was ok! Extra Sweet Romance
description

Summary
The rich girl falls for the poor boy and her evil father breaks them apart.
Ten years later, the boy is a billionaire on a revenge to ruin the evil father and the rich girl.
As they work together, they discover some secrets from the past.
The rich girl, is a working girl now with a secret of her own. Their past was all a misunderstanding and they are still madly in love with each other.
They live happily ever after.

Impressions and opinion
I like romance and I love a good HEA, but this was too much TLC for me. It was bad cliche after bad cliche and I never really connected with the story.
The heroine was weak and the hero was a jerk. Sorry, that's how they come out to me.
I'm not saying it was all bad, just not my cup-of-tea.
I guess, I'm really more into the frog than the prince. I really wanted some imperfections, really, at least a good fight with blood spilled.
The characters were to civilized for me.

I would recommend this story for those that love Cinderella-like fairy tales.

Review: Old Lovers, New Money

Old Lovers, New Money
Old Lovers, New Money by Gabrielle Prevot

My rating: 3 of 5 stars

3 stars. I like it! PNR, EROTICA
description
It was another freebie that I found while cleaning up my kindle. It was a good book.
It a short-story, so it was a fast read.

A female vampire that is an assassin. She doesn't do relationship. She has learned the hard way, that she is not human and shouldn't be mingling with them.
Of course she needs to feed, but that's just part of nature, not an event for her.
Her room service boy is what she wants as her next meal. It's fun and hot her struggles with her "meal".
In just another day of work she has target, but fate is playing with her again, because he is a ghost from her past.
What will happen? Will she be able to kill him? Or is he going to kill her?

Well, I don't know. The author left us hanging there!
I'm interested in finding out, so I will read the rest of the story when it comes out.

Impressions and Opinion
I don't like a book that has no end. But the author did a good job here, she sort of gave us a story into a story. So, we got an end to one of the stories and get curious for what's to come.

This is an erotica book that concentrates more into the sexual part than into the plot of the assassin.

I think to make a full novel, which I hope is going to be what comes next, the author should gives more info into the female character past and her work life.

Impressions and opinion

The book is a fast read, since is the compilation of three novelettes.
Claire discovery of her self is endearing and refreshing.
The characters are strong and well crafted.
The plot is good, even though sometimes unbelievable. That's why this is fiction. :)
The last book is the best of the three, which adds to the crescendo of the story.
I would recommend this book to anyone that likes BDSM romance with HEA.

Review: Brie Learns the Art of Submission: Submissive Training Center

Brie Learns the Art of Submission: Submissive Training Center
Brie Learns the Art of Submission: Submissive Training Center by Red Phoenix

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

5 stars, I loved it and will read again many times! BDSM

First I would like to say, that it has a wonderful cover. It portraits brilliantly what this book is all about. I was really drawn to the facial expressions of both models in the cover.
description
I know this book was previously published as 9 separated novelettes, but I couldn't really see it while reading the book. It was masterfully combined and it's perfect as a novel! Even though, some people may say it has become a long book, I was never tired and always wanted to read more.
description
The author wrote several interesting characters. I think this was one of the highest notes of this book collection. Each new character brought something new to the BDSM world. Each character showed a different side of the D/s relationship and had a different approach, different preferences and dislikes.
Brie was an amazing character, even though for a time, I was worried about the "perfection aura" she had. Then, she failed miserably at cooking and I was so happy to read it. :)
I believe this book was all about Brie and not much about her Doms. So I would rather not choose a favorite yet, because I believe most of them has so much room to be explored.
All I can say is that I totally loved Marquis Gray and Mr. Gallant!
I think all good stories need an antagonist and Ms. Clark was a perfect example given in this collection.
description
There were so many interesting moments, that I find it hard to pick only one novelette, but if I had to make a choice I would say the last one. I felt Brie's pain, I felt her doubts, I really felt with/for her in this one!
description
I love all the little fantasies and scenes of the book, but my top three would be: Brie in her first auction with Donkova. That fantasy was hot! I also really enjoyed her task/ritual time with Master Coen and her auction day with Faelan. These were steamy hot scenes. Lots of cold shower afterwards!
description
A small summary:
Brie is bored with her life until she gets a business card from a distinguish gentleman that really intrigues her. The card invites her to be part of a school for submissives.
She enrolls in the program and has six weeks to learn how to be a proper submissive. Each week she is faced with new challenges that helps her learn about herself and grow as a person.
Brie finds in submitting the answer for her restlessness. She encounters several wonderful Doms and has a hard time choosing THE ONE.
description
I totally enjoyed my journey through the world of Brie and I'm really looking forward to reading more of her.

I recommend this book for anyone that likes BDSM romances!

Trip and Kindle

I had a wonderful trip with my family, but  I wasn't reading much. Yes, that's a bit weird for me, since I usually read 6 books a week.
I did read some short-stories and used the time to cleaned up my kindles some. I also went a little crazy, and bought for myself a Kindle Fire that I saw at a store in Paris. It is my third kindle (fourth really, if I want to remember my favorite first, that I broke it in July) and I have no idea if a Fire works here in Brazil. All of my other kindles I've bought online, therefore it was a very emotional moment for me to see a store full of them and somehow I ended up buying it without really knowing how it will function.
I never really wanted a Fire, I may have dreamed before of a  Paperlight, but never of a Fire.
I'm not even certain how I'm going to add it up to my other 2 kindles. You see, I've divided my 2 previous kindles by author's first name and my Kindle 1 has all authors from A-M and my kindle 2 has authors from N-Z.

So, I haven't try my new kindle, because I still haven't got a clue what exactly to do with it. :)

I really enjoyed visiting Paris this time of the year. Here, in Rio de Janeiro, it's always hot or very hot. So, I don't usually have a nice Autumn and I never, ever see these leaves.

I have a hidden place inside my closet where I keep all my winter clothes. I only wear them when we go away from home. I really love wearing wool! Before, people start asking where is this place in Paris, we took the train and visit Brussels for a day!

As much as I love a good romance and I drool and swoon for every hero, this is my true King! I thought about typing in prince, but I bet my husband would rather be a king!

Now it's time for Christmas, Paris was already "dressed up" for it!

Review: The Djinn's Dilemma

The Djinn's Dilemma
The Djinn's Dilemma by Mina Khan

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

It's a so so so good book! Paranormal Romance

Summary

Rukh O'Shay is an assassin, half-Djinn/half-human, that is used to his marks being really bad people. So, when he meets Sarah Jasmine White, his new mark, he is completely baffled.
Sarah White is a reporter for the Austin American-Herald that has been having nightmares lately. She always dream of being surrounded by fire and she is certain a malign force is haunting her.
Rukh and Sarah's meeting it is not by fate, but their explosive attraction is stronger than their wills.
Will love and lust be enough, or will their secrets destroy it all?

Impressions and Opinion

A fast-paced novella, the Djinn's Dilemma was a lovely surprise.
It's a PNR so differently than the usual, that it's refreshing in it's own way.
Both main characters are very well described by the author, even though this was a short-story.
The world built by Ms. Khan was interesting and new. Wonderful really!
The plot was great with a good surprise with the unexpected "evil".

I really enjoyed the book and I'm really interest in this new world, never read before. It's such a unique, refreshing idea, that I was surprised by it all.

I will be looking for more from Mina Khan and her Djinn world.

I recommend this book for all the PNR lovers!

P.S This book is hot and dangerous. Don't read it in the open, you might burst out in flames!

Review: Cherry Stem

Cherry Stem
Cherry Stem by Sotia Lazu

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Wow" I want to read it again right now!
It's a fabulous vampire book!

Summary

Cherry was turned 6 years before against her will. Now she just gets through life, not really enjoying it. Of course she is a vampire and as such, she needs to feed, but she avoids any kind of relationship and lives a solitary life.
Alex is a cop and can't/won't change that. It doesn't mean that it's not lonely, since he is still trying to cope with his last break up because of his "not ideal job".
They meet in a bar, each with their own agenda. What they didn't know was, that fate would keep them together and the past could break them apart.
In this fun, fast-paced, sexy vampire book, you will find great characters, amazing plot and hot steamy sex.

Impressions and Opinion

Sotia is a superb writer. Her writing style is impeccable and her creativity flawless.
Her characters were hard to dislike. The hero was as alpha as he could get, but so beautifully kind. The heroine, witty, funny and vulnerable at the same time.

Oh my, what would I do on top of the hood of a car? Still fanning myself!

I just have want thing to say... I want more! :)

Review: Generational Sins

Generational Sins
Generational Sins by Samantha Blair

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

It's a 4.5 stars. So so so good! Not 5 stars because of the ending. :)

The author used a very unique way of writing. Each chapter had a different POV (the male and female leads) and it also switched between present and past. It usually ended the chapters with something major and we had to wait 2 chapters to know what would be next. I really enjoyed the back and forth.

I've never wrote a review quite like this one, but I have so many clips and notes from this book that I will write my review using my notes.

Impressions, opinion and sort of a summary

David/Dom/Domestic violence victim's POV

She was my darkest secret and my greatest light
Even though I may not agree all the time, one thing was perfect clear for me, David and Katlyn truly loved each other. Their love sometimes seemed like dependence IMO, but it was there no matter what. I could feel it the entire book from both of them.

She had been a submissive? What did that even mean? She said there was more to it then just rough sex, but I was confused and quite frankly intimidated. What did she expect of me now? What if I disappointed her?
David was lost. He grew up with domestic violence and what was normal in his world, wasn't for everyone else. Through out the book I could definitely see him maturing and learning from Katlyn. I believe that she was the stronger of the relationship and I believe that she could had a good life without him, he would not have make it without her. What it's my point here, is that she was the stronger and the sub, he was the weaker and the Dom. Being a sub, doesn't mean being weak.

I was hooked. I wanted to experience the powerful feeling that I had right now, over and over and over. I wanted to watch her do that again. I wanted to deny her orgasms and listen to her beg for them. I wanted to see how many times I could make her come in one day. There would never be enough time to experience every combination of my new fantasies. She had just opened my eyes to a world that I had no idea existed.
It was really great to read about David's emotions. Even though he was the Dom (the one in charge), he was learning from/with his sub, and she was given him a place and a sense of belonging that he had never felt before.

I just thought that my father was stronger than most, and I thought that my mother was better behaved than most. I thought we were elite, like some kind of royalty that played by a different set of rules. When I got older and knew more about abusive relationships, I simply thought that my father was strict. If my mother didn't screw up, he wouldn't hit her. I thought it was her fault. He always told me it was. When I was old enough to understand sex, I thought they were just rougher than most couples.
Wow! How could David perceived the world any different if this is how he grew up? This book really showed his journey to get out of this mold. The author smartly wrote in a way that I could feel David's struggles along the way. Really poignant!

Katlyn/submissive/teacher

David was a natural Dominant; I was a natural submissive. I knew that going in. What I didn't know was that David had no formal training. Apparently he had picked up his habits from his father, which was disturbing, but he'd never read a book on BDSM, never seen it practiced, never been with an experienced partner. He had no idea what it meant to be in a healthy D/s relationship. He didn't use safewords or even understand them. he would for me though; I wouldn't be with him without one.
It was very interesting to read about a Dom with no training whatsoever learning along the way from his sub. I also really liked that she was an experienced sub and knew what is safe or not, what she should or shouldn't accept on this relationship.
But I have to wonder from this passage, isn't being a Dominant a natural trait born with a person, or someone that is not Dominant can be shaped into one?

"Consent and control", she said, "I am consenting, and you will not lose control with me."
Says the sub, to her Dom. Who has all the control here? Samantha Blair showed the sub's power really well, better than I've ever read before.

I was not about to tell my Dom that he wasn't permitted to hire a plane for the night, but I probably would have argued with my husband over it.
I learned a lot about a sub from Katlyn, this passage it's just one of many. She thinks about her Dom and her husband as if they were two different people, since she only had sort of a "bedroom BDSM" relationship it made sense for me.

It wasn't always perfect, as life never is, but we took each day as it came and made the most of it.
This book was about David's journey, but Katlin really stole the show. She was one of the strongest female leads that I've ever read. Of course she had her own insecurities, but most of the time she was having to guide David into something better and she did not have time for her own problems.
She loved David too much, sometimes I wonder if she didn't love him more than herself.

I still found a bit of a contradiction the sub, that needed to let go of everything to be well and in peace with herself, leading this relationship in which she was always doing the aftercare.

A very intense book!

On Dublin Street perfectly explores Joss feelings and turmoils. The book is all about her maturing.

Impressions and Opinion

Braden is the best type of hero. A great alpha male : gorgeous, smart, funny, hot, bossy, that is great in bed. Really, this book is about Joss, but Braden steals the show.

Joss is an amazing heroine, full of flaws but very much real. Even though I couldn't relate with her life experiences I felt emotionally connected with her. I cried and laughed along, I was happy and sad at the same time.

I can see that Samantha Young is an "expert" in characters creation and development. All her characters, including the secondaries were smartly crafted.

I was expecting an erotica read, because many people had tag it as erotica. It is not! It is an amazing contemporary romance.

I recommend this book to anyone really!

Review: Keep Me Safe

Keep Me Safe
Keep Me Safe by Skye Warren

My rating: 3 of 5 stars

It was an ok book! Yeah, I know, I'm saying it was ok and I'm rating 3 stars and not 2 stars. I don't really know why. I'm a little baffled and not certain what to say here.

I'm not going to give a summary because it was all just rape or attempted rape.

Dark Erotica I will not say BDSM, because I didn't see it. I guess because of the non-con people want to call it edgy BDSM. I don't agree.

I like the idea of the story, but the real plot was terrible. The girl was "raped" from the first page to the last almost. What saved it for me? I guess the HEA. And, I'm a freaky I know, but the forced stuff was much hotter than the consent sex of the book.

I kind of liked the heroine. Yeah, all likes no love from me. :0) She was a bit dumb and a bit too passive for me, but her mental work was very interested IMO. I found something redeemable in her.
IMO, she was suffering from Stockholm syndrome and because of it she was seeing so many great qualities in Zachary (her first rapist and later FBI agent).

The hero, I didn't like him. He was a rapist, that was a gangster, that was a cop, that was FBI, that had quit his job, that was inside a job again at the end. Really I didn't get a connection with him, so I didn't really care for him at all. In most books I read, the FBI agents are bad-ass guys. He was not and if this is closer to reality, I don't care, that's why I read fiction!

So, why did I rated 3 stars? Because at the end, I enjoy a nice HEA and I sort of like the heroine. I would read another book if it was the continuation of their story.

I will probably read others books from the author, but I won't be reading it right away.

Review: Daniel's Surrender

Daniel's Surrender
Daniel's Surrender by Violet Summers

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Wow! The perfect ending for this series.
All three books were good, but the authors were smart enough to raise the tension to the finale.

Cover- I really liked the cover, I love when we cannot see the face and I can picture them as I want.

hero- There is two as different as night in day and as cliche as it is, in all menages, they complement each other and make the perfect "man".
Mathew is young, flirty, happy, but at the same time he know what he wants and fights to get it.
Daniel is dark and shallow, avoids commitment at all costs. His baggage is heavy, but the book gives the reader a perfect journey through his growth.

heroine - For someone that has never experimented into kinky before, Shannon's acceptance of her feelings and of a total lifestyle was a bit too fast and unbelievable. But she was such a deary character with her fun and willingness that it masked the craziness of it all.

plot- The authors once again take their readers into a journey of the kinky world. It is a greatly crafted book, in which the readers can feel the emotions of the characters.

Impressions and opinion

This was one of the best threesome-book I've read. Mostly because their relationship started as a flirt and it grew in tension and feelings within the book.

I would recommend this book for anyone that likes threesome and BDSM.

I will look into other books from this authors. :)

Review: Kindred

Kindred
Kindred by Nicola Claire

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

It's a 3.5 stars. I've rated it higher and not lower because I truly believed in the promise of the series.
It's an "I like it book/series!"

I didn't like the cover at all. I really like covers that I can try to get a feeling of the book and such a fast-paced book like this could not be guessed by its cover.

I really love the heroine, she alone would be a 5 stars IMO. Luce was a do-it-my-way-or-no-way-at-all type of girl. A take charge heroine with some insecurities hidden very well.

I really enjoyed the hero, a tall-dark-and-dangerous master vamp, but for an alpha male he gave in too much for Luce. So, I guess he would be a 4 stars hero.

Nicola Claire created an amazing world for her book. Wow! Vampires, vampires-hunters, shifters, dream-walkers, it had a little of everything beautifully crafted. This world, promise us readers a great future in her series.

Her plot, was good, but the book needed some editing IMO. A bit too long! At times too repetitive.

Impressions and opinion

I didn't like the ending. Even though I know it has 2 more books, it was too abrupt. I also believe that the heroine's power were too much, very unbelievable if there is such a thing within a PNR book.

I love to read threesome, but the promise of a threesome in this series didn't really work for me. I really got stuck with that Alpha Master Vamp! Noway he would allowed room for it!

I'm so excited about the future of this series that I went over and bought the other 2 books!

If you like PNR with kick-ass heroine, alpha-master-vamp and a world full of surprises, I believe you would like this read.
